measures of quality and efficiency. In June of 2015, Vega met future CEO, Bobby Dunaway, who was a recent graduate from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. With a degree in business marketing, Dunaway requested work at Indigo River Publishing. Vega hired Dunaway as his right-hand man and made him a promise: if Dunaway dedicated himself over the following few years under Vega’s mentorship, Vega would bring Dunaway on as a partner of Indigo River Publishing. In partner Georgette Green joined the Indigo River Publishing team. With a background in 2016, future counseling and mental health, she was able to truly connect with authors, which led to her the role as Indigo River Publishing’s Head of Acquisitions. Vega brought Green and Dunaway on as partners in 2019, and within the next few months, Dunaway took over the role of CEO. Dunaway is now a majority partner of Indigo River Publishing.
