Early Life and Culinary Beginnings

Let’s rewind the clock to where it all began. Picture a young Sheila, fresh out of high school in 1990, filled with dreams but uncertain about her future. She found herself in the bustling kitchen of Northwoods Restaurant in Annapolis, MD. Little did she know that this would be the first step on a journey that would lead her to greatness. "I've always loved food," Sheila recalls fondly. "But back then, I didn’t realize my passion for cooking would pave the way for my future." With characteristic enthusiasm, she threw herself into her work, quickly specializing in fish and sauces. Her creativity in the kitchen helped transform the restaurant's menu, boosting profits and catching the attention of her superiors. Working in a fast-paced environment taught Sheila valuable lessons about teamwork, dedication, and resilience—qualities that would serve her well throughout her career. The kitchen was a place where she felt alive; every

dish was an opportunity to express herself creatively while serving others delicious meals that brought joy to their lives.

Education Journey

While working full-time at Northwoods Restaurant, Sheila pursued her education at Anne Arundel Community College.
