CONNECTORS Connectors tend to define their sense of self around the belief that love conquers all. Their primary focus is relatedness and feeling creative or fulfilled through involvement with others. Connectors tend to focus more on what they think their relationship needs than on what they need. As a result, Connectors frequently neglect their personal well-being and/or their drive to have a positive impact on the world. Connectors tend not to recognize the impact that neglecting their own personal passions and boundaries has. It is difficult for them to see how being out of integrity with their own authenticity actually prevents them from co- creating the depth of connection with others they yearn for.
Connectors tend to view Self-Improvers as overly self-absorbed. As a result, their insufficient attention to their own personal development prevents them from achieving the intimacy and collaboration they most seek. Connectors tend to view Do-Gooders as being willing to sacrifice relationships for causes. As a result, they tend to avoid getting involved with politics, causes, and other social issues.
