Ten minutes ago we felt successful having reached the Faroe Islands, ten minutes. Now the waves are filling the boat. The boat is spinning round and round. Bob still wants to hide behind an Island. I want to go back out to sea. I am scared to death of the rocks. I am certain we are going to die. I yell at Bob, “Let’s go back out to sea”… He yells back,” let’s get behind an Island.” You have to understand we are only standing about a foot apart; the wind is blowing so hard that we have to yell to be heard. After several moments of yelling back and forth, I yelled, “Can I drive?”….. Bob answered “Gladly.” “It won't sink, it won't sink. Don't panic. Don't panic, Trust your equipment, Trust your equipment, Help us Lord, Help us Lord, Jesus,” Can't get the boat straight, it is pitch black out and it is hard to drive by GPS because the boat is spinning. It is slow to respond, hard to starboard, hard to starboard, why won'tthis heading change, too far, hard to port, hard to port.
