Here are three ways to UpLevel and speak with your Higher Voice:
Let’s begin. Take four deep breaths inhaling for a count of four through your nose and exhaling for a count of eight through your mouth. Think of your big toes as you feel your energy circulating throughout your body. Stay in your whole body. Think of those big toes. Repeat for five minutes, especially before opening a meeting. 1.The secret to confident and compelling speaking and presenting is to stay in the moment. Only in the present moment are you in the space of love and miracles. Here is a powerful technique that will help you keep the circulation in the core of your body to stay calm and focused. Find a more gracious, dynamic way to open meetings and connect with people. Inclusive greetings include, “Good afternoon, folks”; “Good Morning, Vietnam (smile, with a nod to Robin Williams)”; and “Welcome to the meeting, everyone!” 2.Practice cultural awareness and sensitivity by using polite, inclusive words that include both informal countries (the United States) and formal countries (Japan). I say, “Leave. No. One. Out.” Stop addressing all people as “guys.” I am unhappy that “guys” is now in the dictionary and refers to people in the plural. The word appears to be sourced in British slang and means “a shabbily dressed man.” It’s too informal. We are women, men, and folks who identify otherwise.
