beach-loving people with 6 children who personally knew the struggle of lugging all the “stuff” to and from the beach. As Paul and Jerie Weldon sat on the boardwalk of Bethany Beach, holding hands and reminiscing about the days gone by, their eyes were drawn to a single mom with three children. They watched as she struggled trying to get off the beach with her kids and all their gear in tow. As Paul and Jerie watched, they realized their own “pack mule struggles” were in the past but the memory was still vividly real. So they put the memory and immediate struggles of all the moms and dads out there alike to work on a napkin. YES, a napkin-sketched dream come to life. After investing much thought, time and money into their idea, the Weldons hit a roadblock. They could not find the right person to take their idea to completion. Nor did they have the extra money to continue on. Their patent and blueprints for their idea lay dormant as they focused their energies on their thriving bakery business.
