Jon’s journey began with one question, “Dad, do you love what you do?” Soon after his seven year old daughter asked him this question, he would leave his decade-long career in banking to embark on a journey that would change his life. In 2011, just one year after leaving his career in banking, everything shifted. A fire ignited inside, fueled by his passion and relentless drive to prove to his children anything was possible. Jon decided from that day forward, with the help of two world-leading transformational coaches and mentors, that it was time to play a bigger game in the world, and “go for broke.”

During this trip, Jon would live above a church, surf with crocodiles, bungee-jump the tallest bungee bridge in Costa Rica, and surf the biggest waves of his life. He would later realize his thirty- year dream to surf the Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii, one of the most dangerous waves in the world. On a black sand beach in Pavones, Costa Rica, the home of one of the longest left hand surfing breaks in the world, as the sun set and the water washed over his feet, everything clicked, and a mission was placed in his heart.

racing, backpacking, ice climbing, hiking, volcano exploring, kayaking, whitewater rafting, sailing, diving, and facilitating humanitarian study abroad programs, mission trips, and volunteer events. Over a number of years, Jon would nurture his passion for empowering clients to overcome fear and gain the clarity, confidence, and commitment to relentlessly pursue their dreams. This led to him founding Black Point Standard Consulting Group’s “ZERKERS” division and developing adventure-based programs which unleash human potential and catalyze personal growth.

“Well done, you made it … now go and tell the world.”

“I believe life is an adventure designed to unleash our greatest potential. We must rise to the challenge, take leaps of faith into the unknown, and gain the courage to relentlessly pursue our dreams.” — Jon Christian Jervert

Eventually experiences would open doors to building relationships with some of the most influential leaders and mentors in the world, and even spending a night bar hopping dressed as Elvis with one of his business hero's and twenty five other mystery Elvis multi- these millionaires.
