field. I had been helping others find ways to hack their life goals and create direct paths to success so I simply needed to apply these same strategies to my own career. My brain had the path mapped out. The first thing I needed to do was build relationships and find mentors. To do this I needed to brand myself as not only an entrepreneur but as an artist. Easy. For anyone wanting to create their dream life, create the persona you want to be. Then find mentors or mastermind with your kind of people. Find the people who are already doing what you want to do and study their journey. You want to be a lawyer, go to law conferences… if you want to be a gamer – be a gamer and go to gaming conferences. When I started in business I went to big dinners and all I could afford was to eat the free bread and I only drank water just to be in that room. On a good week I might be able to afford a salad or appetizer. I stayed at the cheapest hotels and walked to where the event was. If I couldn’t afford to go in, I’d stand by the door or hangout in the circle bar where everyone would end up… I didn't make excuses. I created solutions. I met Richard Branson by going to an event where he was speaking a day early, and observed how his security was dressed. I went to the Big and Tall and bought the same outfit and then walked backstage and handed him my business card with $20 wrapped around it. He loved the gesture and a few years later I spent an entire week with him on Necker. If you don’t try, it’s already a “no.” I researched the cost to rebrand and create the persona I thought I needed. I knew social media would be a big part of it so I
