Kamin was born into humble circumstances to a U.S. family at a hospital in the Congo. As a young child, she had short stops in Paris, San Diego, Palo Alto, and East Brunswick, NJ, before her family settled in the greater Washington D.C. area. One thing to note about Kamin’s childhood is it foreshadowed what was to come. How? Her parents were both ministry-minded, service-minded people. That had a huge impact on the adult that Kamin blossomed into.

Who is Kamin Samuel?
Dr. Kamin Samuel is a passionate philanthropist and successful business and executive coach. She is also a former U.S. Navy helicopter pilot—the first African American woman to serve in this role. After her military service, Kamin worked as a web developer and quickly rose through the ranks of corporate America. She eventually became Vice President of Online Merchandising and Vice President of Global Website Operations at a billion-dollar company. Kamin now uses her extensive experience to help professionals achieve their goals. She has a Ph.D.
